From a young age, Shalyni felt called to use her voice and presence in service of others. As a teenager, she volunteered in hospitals, nursing homes, and group homes—offering comfort through song and presence. What began as a devotion to healing through music and service evolved into a lifelong path of supporting people through life’s most complex challenges.
Since 2008, she has worked across diverse settings: serving as a Court-Appointed Child Advocate, advocating for Domestic Violence survivors at DC's Superior Court, contributing to anxiety research in Sydney, Australia, and serving in the AmeriCorps. She has provided care and therapy to individuals with special needs and cognitive disabilities, those living with severe mental illness, homelessness, substance abuse, and criminal justice involvement, as well as adults in high-stakes professions and students navigating the demands of medical school and residency.
These experiences have shaped her clinical style, which is further enriched by a holistic approach that integrates Eastern wisdom and Western therapeutic frameworks. With compassion, creativity, and depth, she guides people back to themselves—awakening higher consciousness and aligning them with their most authentic path.
Shalyni is a dual-state Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist (New York & Nevada), certified Yoga and Meditation Instructor, and trained Singer. She currently offers therapy and meditation sessions online.
